I had the pleasure of photographing this family during a beauty peak at the South Coast Botanical Gardens during the winter. When we went the Sage was wild, abundant, and sprawling along the path. There was also the most beautiful vine with red leaves growing along a trellis and bench. It was just so perfect. A couple weeks later I visited the same spot and all the sage had been cut down and the red leaves had withered. I was so glad that we had taken the pictures at such an opportune time!
